Daring To Hope

Written by markfromireland on July 23, 2008 – 12:08 am

As I posted immediately below منظمة الصحة العالمية: لا إصابات بالكوليرا في العراق منذ ستة أشهر WHO have just reported that there have been no laboratory confirmed cases of Cholera in the last 6 months. Yes AWD is up markedly. Yes the acute water shortage poses a severely increased Cholera outbreak risk. Yes the high-risk period is by no stretch of the imagination over. Nevertheless for the first time in a long time, I’m daring, to feel, just a little, the tiniest stirrings of hope.

Bomb Bomb Bomb, Bomb Bomb Iran

Written by Editors on July 11, 2008 – 11:22 pm

Yes, they are stupid cynically corrupt, depraved, vicious, arrogant, and evil, enough to do it. This is the United States government we’re talking about, and yes they they are stupid cynically corrupt, depraved, vicious, arrogant, and evil, enough to do it. Just ask any Iraki who has seen their homeland destroyed, their family and friends slaughtered, and the American boot smashed into their children’s future. All of this, and worse has been done repeatedly by the cynically corrupt, depraved, vicious, arrogant, and evil government of the United States of America, and their legions of soldiers, and mercenaries. And no, we haven’t forgotten that the cynically corrupt, depraved, vicious, arrogant, and evil, government of the United States of America was freely elected by the American people not once but twice.

Yesterday Was A Very Strange Day

Written by Fatima Jameel on May 19, 2008 – 9:15 pm

What was so strange about it? What was strange was that according to Aswat Al Iraq nobody was killed or injured between two in the afternoon and nine in the evening.

How strange.

And how terrible that I should think it strange.

Fatima.
