Christian Father and Two Sons Slaughtered In Front of Wife and Daughters

According to a CHristian team member in Mosul the gunmen arrived on three motorcycles. One gang member stood guard while three gunmen kicked in the door to the house in which the Maroki family who are Syriac Catholics live.

Once inside they shot dead 59 year old Aishwa Maroki, his 31 year old son Mokhlas, and his 25 year old son Bassim. They then forced the terrified women to hand over their gold ornaments and rings and made their escape. See also this report from Aswat al Iraq

Unidentified gunmen killed three Christians from the same family in western Mosul on Tuesday, according to a security source.

“Unknown armed men stormed the house of a Christian family in al-Seha neighborhood in western Mosul, killing the father and two of his sons, one of them is a priest,” the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.

“The father is a very old man and the priest had been kidnapped two years ago,” he explained.

He gave no more details.

This brings to 8 the number of Christians murdered in the last week and a half.

It seems that not just fanatic muslims but also Kurdish security forces are enjoying such events; Because at least till now we see no responds or any act of protection for those Christian (Assyrian-Chaldean-Syriac)by those forces.
