Army Patrol Attacked Near Diana Hotel 1 soldier killed 8 civilians wounded
An Iraki soldier was killed and ten other people were wounded in a bomb attack on a GZG army patrol in the Karrada district of central Baghdad today. The bomb targeting the patrol was placed near the Diana Hotel in Abu Nawas street the blast struck and destroyed the patrol’s Humvee and destroyed it, killing the soldier and wounding two others. As well as the military casualties eight civilian pedestrians were wounded by the bomb.
