As can be seen from the two immediately preceding postings the number of laboratory confirmed cases of Cholera in Irak has now jumped to 462 according the green zone government ministry of health. The health authorities in Karbala yesterday confirmed that there were 34 LC cases of Cholera in Karbala. The death toll has now jumped from 5 to eight deaths from LC cases of Cholera. The majority of those deaths were children under the age of five years. The green zone government health spokesman has admitted for the first time that the 5 out of the 8 cases of death from LC Cholera died in their homes.
