“There are new cases of birth deformities we are seeing for the first time.
We used to read about them in textbooks.
But now they are common here.
I’ve worked in Fallujah and Ramadi and noticed these congenital abnormalities are more common than other diseases.
Some babies are born so deformed that their parents wish their children were dead. “
