” ما ذنب النساء والاطفال في المدينة ممن يقتلون نتيجة هذه العمليات.”
طالب عدد من شيوخ عشائر مدينة الصدر،السبت ، بفك الحصار المفروض على المدينة الواقعة شمال شرقي بغداد وإيقاف العمليات العسكرية التي تتعرض لها.
وقال عجم الساعدي ، ممثلاً عن شيخ عشيرة السواعد في مدينة الصدر للوكالة المستقلة للأنباء ( أصوات العراق) ان” نحو مئة شيخ عشيرة من عشائر مدينة الصدر تجمعوا في ساحة (الفلاح) في المدينة مطالبين بفك الحصار عنها وإنهاء العمليات العسكرية التي تتعرض لها.”
وأضاف ” يجب على القانون أن يحمي الناس لا ان يقتلهم ” متسائلا ” ما ذنب النساء والاطفال في المدينة ممن يقتلون نتيجة هذه العمليات.”
وقال إن” هذه المطالب قد وجهت إلى مجلس النواب ورئيس الوزراء والجمهورية والراي العام العراقي” مشيرا إلى أن ” هذا التجمع لم يكن ضد الحكومة بقدر ما هي إيصال رسالة اليها.”
من جانبه قال الشيخ سمير البديري رئيس عشيرة الـ بدير في محافظة بغداد لـ ( أصوات العراق) ان” التجمع هو من اجل المطالبة بحقن دماء المسلمين.”
وأضاف أن” الهدف من التجمع هو المطالبة بفك الحصار وإيقاف العمليات العسكرية إضافة إلى منع تدخل دول الجوار في الشأن العراقي.”
وتشهد مدينة الصدر مواجهات دامية منذ الأسبوع الأخير منذ شهر آذار مارس الماضي بين القوات الأمنية التي تساندها القوات الأمريكية ومسلحين من جيش المهدي التابع للتيار الصدري الذي يتزعمه رجل الدين السيد مقتدى الصدر، حيث تزامنت هذه المواجهات مع الاشتباكات التي وقعت في البصرة عقب انطلاق خطة (صولة الفرسان) في المدينة الواقعة جنوبي العراق لملاحقة من اسماهم رئيس الوزراء نوري المالكي بـ “الخارجين على القانون.”

قالت مصادر طبية من المستشفيين الرئيسيين بمدينة الصدر شرقي بغداد، السبت، إن المستشفيين استقبلا (14) قتيلا و(25) جريحا جراء العمليات المسلحة التي شهدتها المدينة، خلال الـ (24) ساعة الماضية.
وذكر مصدر طبي مسؤول في مستشفى (الإمام على) بمدينة الصدر للوكالة المستقلة للأنباء ( أصوات العراق) أن المستشفى ” استقبل، ابتداءً من الساعة الثامنة من صباح أمس (الجمعة) وحتى الثامنة من صباح اليوم (السبت)، (14) شهيدا و(23) جريحا.”
وأضاف مصدر طبي آخر من مستشفى (الشهيد الصدر) في المدينة أن المستشفى “استقبل جريحين فقط ، يوم أمس (الجمعة).”
كان الجيش الأمريكي أعلن، السبت، أن عملياته العسكرية التي ينفذها في مدينة الصدر أسفرت، يوم أمس (الجمعة)، عن مقتل ثمانية من المسلحين.
كما ذكر مدير إعلام صحة الرصافة قاسم عبد الهادي أن (مستشفى الصدر) تعرض إلى قصف جوي أمريكي، اليوم (السبت)، أدى إلى إصابة (20) من المرضى الموجودين بالمستشفى، من ضمنهم عدد من العاملين والكادر الطبي.”
وأضاف عبد الهادي لـ ( أصوات العراق) أن القصف ” أسفر أيضا عن تضرر تسع سيارات إسعاف، وحوالي (40) سيارة مدنية، فضلا عن إلحاق أضرار بالغة في الباب الخلفي للمستشفى، ودار الأطباء، وقسم الإسعافات الطارئة.”
يذكر أن كلا من مستشفيي (الصدر) و(الإمام علي) هما المستشفيان الرئيسيان في المدينة الواقعة شرقي العاصمة بغداد، وهما مسؤولتان عن تسلم جثث وجرحى الإشتباكات الدائرة في المدينة بشكل شبه يومي.
وتتعرض مدينة الصدر، وهي أهم معقل في بغداد للتيار الصدري و(جيش المهدي) التابع له، للقصف المستمر وحملات والتفتيش بحثا عن العناصر المسلحة، وذلك منذ المواجهات الدامية التي شهدتها المدينة، في الأسبوع الأخير من آذار/ مارس الماضي، بين القوات الأمنية ومجموعات من (جيش المهدي)، بعد ساعات من إنطلاق خطة (صولة الفرسان) في مدينة البصرة جنوبي البلاد.

According to the Medical spokesman at Imam Ali hospital, Sadr City, in the 24 hours between 8 O’clock in the morning Friday May 2nd, 2008, and 8 O’clock in the morning today Saturday May 3rd, 2008, Imam Ali hospital received:
The medical spokesman for Sadr City hospital said that the hospital had:
“only received two wounded yesterday (Friday).”
The Americans currently assaulting Sadr City claimed today that their military operations in Sadr City led to yesterday (Friday), led to the killing of eight people who they alleged were “gunmen”.

The American air strike on Sadr City hospital this morning led to the injury of twenty persons including patients asleep in the wards, medical, and other hospital personnel. (see مصدر رسمي: 20 جريحا وتضرر نحو 50 سيارة في قصف أمريكي لمستشفى الصدر immediately below)
According to the director of health services for Sadr City the bombing of the hospital by an American warcraft:
“resulted in the injury of 20 patients who are hospitalised, a number of senior medical workers, also damaged were nine ambulances, and about 40 civilian cars.”
The bombing of the hospital also damaged the right rear entrance to the hospital and the emergency unit. One of our members working in the hospital contacted by ‘phone said the toll is expected to rise as the wounded succumb to their injuries. She added that the wounded were mostly children and some some women.
Sadr City hospital is one of the two hospitals serving Sadr city — the other is Imam Ali hospital, they are responsible for treating the people wounded in the American attack on the city, and receiving the corpses of those killed in the American assault. The Americans bomb Sadr city which is very densely populated on a daily basis.
