مقتل واصابة 1921 شخصا حصيلة اشتباكات مدينة الصدر
The death and injury toll of the fighting in Sadr city is now 1921 people.
A medical source said on Thursday that armed clashes in Sadr City, east of Baghdad left (300) dead and wounded others (1621).
The statistic includes all casualties since the 25th of last month and are for casualties resulting from the so-called “Charge of The Knights”.
The figures are from Imam Ali and Al-Kindi hospitals and refer only to the casualties in Sadr city.
As we have repeatedly reported the Americans prevented ambulances from entering Sadr City. This greatly added to the pressure on medical facilities in the city. Now that it too late for the 300 people killed and the 1621 people wounded as a result of their actions the Americans are now allowing ambulances to do their job again.

اكد مصدر طبي اليوم الخميس ان الاشتباكات المسلحة في مدينة الصدر شرقي بغداد خلفت (300) قتيل وجرح (1621) آخرين.
وقال المصدر في تصريح صحفي ان هذه الاحصائية تشمل جميع الخسائر البشرية منذ اندلاع الاشتباكات في 25 من الشهر الماضي وحتى الان على اثر التداعيات بعد تنفيذ عملية صولة الفرسان بمحافظة البصرة.
واضاف ان هذه الحصيلة جاءت “حسب الأرقام التي وردت من مستشفيي الإمام علي والصدر اللذين يقعان داخل مدينة الصدر ومستشفى الكندي وسط العاصمة بغداد”.
مشيرا الى ان السعة السريرية للمستشفيات في مدينة الصدر “شكلت ضغطا على كاهل الكادر الطبي خلال الأيام الماضية” لكنه لفت الى ان عملية دخول فرق الإسعاف الى المدينة “تتم الآن بإنسيابية بعد ان كانت هناك صعوبة في الدخول مع بداية العمليات العسكرية التي شهدتها المدينة”.
