This was Mustafa Muhsin. He was thirteen years old. He had gone yesterday to the exotic bird market in Baghdad to see the birds. It’s free it’s fun and very popular with Baghdadis who even if they can’t afford a pet can at least look at one and dream.
Sometimes it is very expensive, yesterday’s excursion cost Mustafa his life. One of the 99 deaths admitted to by the American puppet green zone government which despite the fact that it has been bombed repeatedly didn’t bother to protect the market or ask their American masters to do so.
