Dec 5 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Iraq at 1130 GMT on Wednesday.

* KIRKUK - A parked car bomb targeted the convoy of a police commander, Brigadier-General Kakamen Hameed, in southern Kirkuk, 250 km (155 miles) north of Baghdad, police and hospital sources said. The general was among 10 people wounded, and one of his bodyguards and one civilian were killed.
* MOSUL - A parked car bomb killed one civilian and wounded seven others including a policeman when it targeted a police patrol in central Mosul, 390 km (240 miles) north of Baghdad, police said.
* BAGHDAD - A roadside bomb wounded two policeman when it targeted their patrol in Yarmouk district, west-central Baghdad, police said.
* DHULUIYA - One body was found with gunshot wounds in the town of Dhuluiya, 70 km (45 miles) north of Baghdad, police said.
* BAQUBA - A parked car bomb killed five people and wounded 13 on a main road near a number of government offices in the volatile city of Baquba, 65 km (40 miles) north of Baghdad, police said.
SALAHUDDIN PROVINCE - Two U.S. soldiers were killed and two others wounded when gunmen opened fire after a roadside bomb exploded in Salahuddin Province on Tuesday, the U.S. military said.
WASIT PROVINCE - Iraqi security forces arrested a suspected al Qaeda militant with three others believed to be involved in killing civilians in Wasit Province, southeast of Baghdad, a security source said. They also found a Katyusha rocket launcher that had targeted a Georgian military position in the town of Numaniya, 120 km (72 miles) south of Baghdad, the source said.
ANBAR PROVINCE - One U.S. soldier was killed and two injured by an explosion in Anbar province in western Iraq on Monday, the U.S. military said.
KUT - Gunmen killed a sheikh in a drive by-shooting, in western Kut, 170 km (100 miles) southeast of Baghdad, police said.

(رويترز) - فيما يلي التطورات الامنية التي أعلن عنها في العراق يوم الاربعاء حتى الساعة 1130 بتوقيت جرينتش:
كركوك - قالت مصادر من الشرطة وعاملون في مستشفى ان سيارة متوقفة انفجرت مستهدفة موكب لواء بالشرطة في جنوب كركوك الواقعة على مسافة 250 كلومترا شمالي بغداد. وكان اللواء ضمن عشرة أشخاص أصيبوا بجروح في حين قتل أحد حراسه ومدني واحد.
الموصل - قالت الشرطة ان انفجار سيارة متوقفة أسفر عن مقتل مدني واحد واصابة سبعة بجروح منهم شرطي في هجوم استهدف دورية للشرطة في وسط الموصل على مسافة 390 كيلومترا شمالي بغداد.
بغداد - قالت الشرطة ان انفجار قنبلة موضوعة على طريق أسفر عن اصابة شرطيين في هجوم استهدف دوريتهما في حي اليرموك في غرب بغداد.
الضلوعية - قالت الشرطة انه تم العثور على جثة بها اثار طلقات نارية في بلدة الضلوعية على مسافة 70 كيلومترا شمالي بغداد.
بعقوبة - قالت الشرطة ان سيارة ملغومة متوقفة انفجرت يوم الاربعاء مما تسبب في مقتل خمسة واصابة 13 في طريق رئيسي قرب مكاتب حكومية في مدينة بعقوبة المضطربة التي تقع على مسافة 65 كيلومترا شمالي بغداد.
محافظة صلاح الدين - قال الجيش الامريكي ان جنديين أمريكيين قتلا وأصيب اثنان اخران بجروح عندما فتح مسلحون النار بعد انفجار قنبلة موضوعة على الطريق في محافظة صلاح الدين يوم الثلاثاء.
محافظة واسط - قال مصدر أمني ان قوات الامن العراقية اعتقلت شخصا يشتبه في انه من أعضاء تنظيم القاعدة مع ثلاثة اخرين يعتقد انهم شاركوا في قتل مدنيين في محافظة واسط جنوب شرقي بغداد. وأضاف المصدر انهم عثروا كذلك على منصة لاطلاق صواريخ الكاتيوشا استهدفت موقعا عسكريا لجنود من جورجيا في بلدة النعمانية على مسافة 120 كيلومترا جنوبي بغداد.
محافظة الانبار - قال الجيش الامريكي ان جنديا أمريكيا قتل واصيب اثنان اخران بجروح في انفجار في محافظة الانبار في غرب العراق يوم الاثنين.
الكوت - قالت الشرطة ان مسلحين قتلوا شيخا عشائريا باطلاق النار عليه من سيارة مارة في الكوت على مسافة 170 كيلومترا جنوب شرقي بغداد
