Fighting Between JAM and SCIRI (SIIC) in Baghdad
Fighting has broken out in Sadr city between JAM fighters and gunmen “believed to be from” SIIC (SCIRI) at Hamzah square. Fighting is still going on. The casualties on either side are not known. Witnesses say a SIIC (SCIRI) office near the square has been attacked with RPGs and light weaponry and been set ablaze.
In a second attack on SIIC (SCIRI) offices gunmen stormed a SIIC (SCIRI) branch office in Kadhimiyah and set it ablaze. Again fighting is still going on in the vicinity and casualties on either side are unknown.
