- Four million Irakis – 15% – regularly cannot buy enough to eat. Of the four million Iraqis who cannot regularly buy enough to eat 1.6 million do not have access to basic rations. The situation is worse for displaced Irakis (refugees inside Irak) 32% of the displaced have no access to basic food rations. 51% only get food
“sometimes” a mere 17% have reliable access to rations. Many of those who receive rations find that are incomplete. - 70% of Irakis are without adequate water supplies, compared to 50% in 2003.
- 80% of Irakis now have to live without sanitation.
- More than 1 in 4 Iraki children — 28% of Iraki children are malnourished — compared to 19% before the American led 2003 invasion.
- Because of the wave of terror and horror unleashed by the American led invasion 92% of Iraqi children suffer learning problems.
- More than two million people most of them women and children have been forced to flee their homes and now live as refugees inside Irak.
