Incidents and Reports Irak June 6th 2007 From Arabic - Late Breaking Reports
These are late breaking reports from Baghdad and the governorates I give very brief summaries only for pressure of time. - Mohammed:
- Ninewa: Gunmen attacked two men and a woman in a village west of Tal Afar shooting them dead. Villagers underwent mortar fire. Green zone government forces claim to have detained two “major terrorists” Source: اصوات العراق - مسلحون يقتلون رجلا وإمرأة.. وقصف قرية غربي تلعفر
- Baghdad: A group of gunmen rampaged through a family home in the Jihad district (west Baghdad) and killed two of its members green zone government police say the do not know if the two brothers who were shot were the target of the attack or if some other faily member was the target. - Salah Al Din: Two policemen were shot dead in an ambush. In a separate incident a father was wounded and his two daughters killed by a bomb that epxloded as their car passed it. Source: اصوات العراق - مقتل شرطيين وفتاتين وإصابة والدهما بحادثين في قضاء بلد
- Ninewa: American forces shot three members of a family this evening as they drove in north eastern Mosul. Witnesses say a five year old boy was shot in the head in the incident. No comment from the Americans. In a separate incident eyewitnesses said that American forces raided, Wednesday evening, the clinic of Dr. Raafat Khaled Ali and detained him pointing out that he had served in as an in the Iraki army which the invaders disbanded. - Kirkuk: One greenzone government policeman was killed a 3 others wounded in a bombing south of Kirkuk. The headquarters of the Islamic Party in Al-Huwiyjah (70 Km southwest of Kirkuk,) was damaged in a bombing targeting it. - Ninewa: Lieutenant Haidar Ahmad Al-Jabouri an officer in the green zone government police was shot dead in Mosul. In a separate incident A woman and her 5 year old son were injured in the bombing of a house in Mosul. The ocucpants of the house were away at the time the house is said to belong to the police.
