A source in the green zone government “police” speaking on condition of anonymity told Aswat Al Iraq that members of the Interior ministry Scorpio brigade had detained members of Tawhid and Jihad suspected of kidnapping in Alexandria after fighting. Maysan: 7 Hostages Released After Clash:

Green zone government police in Maysan said they had released 7 employees of an Iraqi civilian civilian firm from Al-Basrah after fighting with their kidnappers. They said the fighing was fierce lasted about an hour and that kidnappers escaped due to the difficult nature of the terrain.

Mosul : Tal Afar : Green Zone Government Claims 2 out of 4 Resistance Fighters killed were from Yemen

After the green zone government police outpost was shelled the green zone government “police” clashed with unknown gunmen. According to Brigadier Abdullah Al-Jabouri who commands the local green zone government death squad police. 2 of the 4 resistance gunmen [who he earlier said were “unknown” - Mohammed] are “believed to Yemeni.”

More than 90 gunmen killed, 32 arrested in Tarmiyah and Balad Roze - MultiNationals
Baghdad, Jan 11, (VOI) – The Multi-National forces in Iraq on Thursday said they killed eight gunmen and detained seven others in Tarmiyah, north of Baghdad, while joint forces killed 85 gunmen and detained 25 south of Balad Roze, Diala province.
“Coalition Forces killed eight (gunmen) and detained seven suspected (gunmen) during a series of raids which began Saturday and ended Monday to capture al-Qaida in Iraq leaders in the Tarmiyah area,” the forces said in a statement received by the independent news agency Voices of Iraq (VOI).
The forces found during the raid six arms caches that contained “12 AK-47s, 20 rocket-propelled grenade launchers, 20 rocket-propelled grenades, five 82 mm mortar systems, sniper rifles, armor piercing rounds, several 80 mm rocket launchers, improvised explosive device materials and an assortment of mortar grenade fuses.”
Another statement said that joint Multi National-Iraqi forces launched a massive operation south of Balad Roze.
“After seven days of combined operations south of Balad Roze, Iraqi Army soldiers, in partnership with 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, continue to discover large weapons caches and destroy anti-Iraqi forces throughout the Turki Village area,” it said.
“Having cleared over 200 kilometers of terrain, the 1st Brigade, 5th Iraqi Army, with support from 3-1 Cav., has unearthed approximately 20 caches, killed more than 85 (gunmen) and detained 25 suspected anti-Iraqi forces,” the statement added.
It said the operation, which began Jan. 4, with a combined air and ground assault, continues to target anti-Iraqi forces “that are believed to have tortured and executed more than 40 members of rival tribes in the area in November. “
“We have linked this particular group of terrorists to multiple acts of violence throughout Diala in the areas of Baaquba, Khalis, Muqdadiyah and Balad Roze,” it added.
“Since discovering more than 1,150 57-mm rockets Saturday, the soldiers have uncovered several more caches containing improvised explosive device-making material, more than 1,000 rocket-propelled grenades, 13 anti-tank mines, more than 1,000 small-arms munitions, 1,050 heavy machine gun rounds, dozens of anti-tank missiles and other terrorist planning documents,” the Multi-National forces said.

Mosul: Law Professor Murdered

Dr. Kamel Abdul-Hussein, who was the dean assistant of law was murdered by gunmen as he drove from his office to his home in al-Kafaat at lunchtime.

Al Fallujah: Attacks on American Invader and Green Zone “Government” Positions

The invader base in central Fallujah was shelled by three mortars one innocent person was killed by a shell which landed outside the position. The green zone government troops base in Falahat was attacked. In both attacks the invaders and their green zone government subordinates sealed the area so it is not yet known if the attackers succeeded in killing any of them.

Diyala: 6 Tortured Bodys Found : Two Other Peopel killed.

The bodys of 6 people who had been trotured and shot were brought to the hospital in Ba`qubah ,two people were killed by gunmen who shot at their car in Al-Muqdadiyah.

Tikrit : Salah al-Din : Smugglers Caught : 1 Green zone government soldier martyred 3 others wounded.

Fuel (Kerosine) smugglers taking stolen fuel from Baji refinery north to peshmerga controlled Kirkuk were intercepted.

A green zone government soldier was killed and three others wounded in bombing attack.

[They were escorting pilgrims returning from the Hadj. Because he died protecting pilgrims he is a martyr and not a traitor - Mohammed.]

Details of the Murder of The Pilgrims Revealed.

The governor of Bābil in a press conference today said that officials within the green zone government that collaborates with the American invaders in their war against the people of Iraq. He said that:

“The murder of the pilgrims [that was] carried out by gunmen yesterday was prepared in advance. At the instigation of officials in the Iraqi government. “

He revealed further that the bodys of the martyred pilgrims were descerated by being set on fire. This was confirmed by the Health director in the holy city of Karbala.

The area in which the attack place is under the control of green zone government regiment that calls itself “Zulqifar”. The convoy was of buses and cars in the cars was the Sadrist member of parliament Haidar al-Sewidi.

There are other details but I find them too angering and too disgusting to translate.

Hit: American Invaders Fire Indiscriminately Killing Two People And Wound Six Other People

The American invaders came under mortar attack (6 shells) followed by gunfire. According to the eyewitnesss report in Aswat Al Iraq:

“the American forces responded to the fire indiscriminately, killing two citizens and wounding six others, some seriously.”

The witness added that appeals were broadcast from the minarets asking the people of the town to donate blood for treatment of the wounded.

Basrah (West) Iraqi Bomb Disposal Expert Killed

An Iraqi who worked clearing landmines in Barjisiyah (50 km west of Basra)  from the war with Iran died when one of the mines exploded.

[I bear no love for the Persians but the war with Iran was instigated by the then American government who like all the other American governments cannot bear the idea of Muslims being free to have a government that is not a puppet - Mohammed]

American Invaders Bomb Sadr City 

The American invaders launched an operation against Sadr City today. As is their habit they started at around 3AM. As is also their habit they bombed the densely populated civilian area in “suport” of a raid by green zone “government” troops under the command of American invader “advisers” The bombing is being described as intensive.
