“Thank you for having me,” he told Merkel. “Looking forward to that pig tonight.”
Bush answered a few more questions but kept coming back to the boar for a third, then a fourth time.
Before tasting the boar the president enjoyed his favourite appetiser of raw baby brain .

Good idea to talk about pork while dismissing the situation in Palestine/Lebanon/Israel as “sad” and “pathetic”. While Iraq, Afghanistan and now Gaza and Lebanon burn, he parties on with a continued swagger and indifference to any cultural sensitivities, much less loss of human life. Hope he enjoyed his roasted pig.
Has he ever smelled real burning flesh and the accompanying screams?

That being said, something certainly seems to smell here.

Does anyone have posting here have an Idependent, paid ‘Portfolio’ subscription? Since only those who do will be able to confirm [or not, as the case may be] whether or not the piece we’re reading here @ ICH is in fact ‘the real McCoy’.

When I looked the last time there were two completely different articles by Fisk on their front page.
I’ll tell you our policy:
None of us posts comments at information clearing house because it’s infested by every weirdo and conspiracy minded loolah in creation. Large well-known sites get like that unless they are prepared to devote hefty resources to moderating. You wouldn’t believe the hate-filled and/or plain barking mad crap we get here from all sides and flat out won’t publish. It’s rare for us even to ban people but we do sometimes do it and are starting to do it more and more.
Here’s my take:
Fisk writes good informative articles and lo and behold the moment he (completely truthfully) points out a few realities known to everyone on the ground the same bigots who praise him to the skies when he reports something telling the truth as he sees it that suits them suddenly start calling him a plant, a shill, and God knows what else besides. I don’t agree with everything Fisk writes by any stretch of the imagiation but I’ll say three things about him:
1) He knows his stuff.
2) He has a lot of sympathy for everyone in Lebanon (and divides his time between living there and his other home in Ireland.)
3) He’s well aware that when it come to Lebanon that nobody absobloodylutely nobody has clean hands.
Israel, Britain, America, the French, the Saudis, the Iranians, the Syrians, the EU, the Russians, you name it they all have their hands dripping with the blood of people who live in Lebanon and who home it is. The same is true of Lebanese political leaders every single one of them from my point of view is a murdering fucker who should be flogged publicly and then locked up permanently.
What’s going on right now is mostly local to Lebanese politics but it’s very likely to expand explosively because of all the jockeying for position. A lot more innocent people are going to suffer and die.
Compared to that in all honesty who gives a flying you know what if somebody mistakenly posted the same article twice or got the headings mixed or whatever.
Individual access to articles on the independent site costs £1 sterling per article. How much do want to bet that not one of the people shrieking about conspiracys has:
1) Ever lived in Lebanon, or Syria, or Iraq, or Israel.
2) Can be bothered to spend £1 ?
Far more enjoyable to publicly w**k themselves into a self-righteous stupor because it fits with whatever pathetic little bloodsoaked fantasy they happen to fixate on.
May people like that burn in hell along with the pigs that birthed them.
I’ll add before I go to bed that every single flaming one of those loolahs has swallowed hook line and sinker the complete and total crap that this operation by the Israelis is “in response to” what the hizb and hamas have done. The Israelis are technically very good but they’re not that good. To mount an operation like this takes time a lot of time and a lot of planning.

The tired old Israel excuse of “in response to” joke/lie doesn’t come as news to me though. Even from my own home, I’ve seen via several sources, this shamefull charade develop along the same lines it always does.
