Despite half-assed generic denials from the various European governments involved it looks like Senator Marty ‘has done his homework’. That and the fact that the corporate media in the US are far more deferential, indeed supine, towards officialdom.

What’s interesting about this is that Rice, for once speaking truthfully, said when she was over here that much of this had been done with at least the connivance of European securuty services who conveniently looked the other way and that the governments involved should STFU. Unfortunately for her point of view and fortunately for those of us who know that governments acting like gangsters makes the situation worse not better the various prosecution services take a very different stance. In quite a few countries the prosecutors have launched investigations of the relevant officials with a view to hauling them into court and forcing them to account for their actions.
